A special thanks to the Cockenzie & Port Seaton RBL Pipe Band for coming along, and also to the people of Aberlady for helping out on the day and for supporting the event.
Big thanks too to our Ambassador John Collins for devoting the day to ensuring that the children had a great time, and for bringing a team of former players along to provide a showcase game.
Special thanks too to Coerver Coaching, The Sick Kids face-painters, Gosfrod Poultry, Keystore, Barry Ward for bringing The Cup, Simpson and Marwick, Joe Forte Sports and to Aberlady Village Store for their support.
Finally a special mention for Phil Notley, who’s organisational skills mobilised so many people to make the day happen.
From the moment that the sun broke through the thunderous skies an hour before the teams arrived, we never looked back. A really great day with so many special memories. Success is measured in may ways, but for us it's simple: glorious sunshine, smiling faces, and nearly £9,000 raised. A really, really great day.
So much could be written, but a picture paints a thousand words. Many thanks to our photographer Malcolm Cochrane for these fantastic shots.
